The first time I read them I cried.. and every time since>
I hope that we can get Actor and Marine Gene Hackman to our May 28th event to read the eulogy while we have footage of the cemetery in the background. We are raising $10 million to put a new Iwo Jima Flag Raising Monument facing out over the Pacific towards that small island and all those 7000 who died to secure it -- and in so doing, saved 3 -4 US Airmen's lives from ditching in the cold unforgiving Pacific waters in Feb - 1945 until the war's end. We plan to have the Gittelsohn at the new monument site at Camp Pendleton (Iwo Jima Monument West 501c3). Blessgins to all my Jewish friends, esp. Annette Silbert in Boston, and the late Dr. Isadore Rosenfeld who was a gift from God as well to America.
Laura Dietz, Founder, IJMWest 501c3 (messages welcome at: Laurabdietz@gmail.com or in our contact box: www.marinesoniwojima.com/IwovetsspeakAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04289598539582177831noreply@blogger.com
